STORY OF LENKA
Lenka, a young Czech woman, leaves her small hometown on the German border to study in Paris, where she uncovers a dark incident in her family history. All that she believed in seems now to be her pure invention. Forced to abandon her carefree life, Lenka's search for the truth brings her into conflict with her mother, her boyfriend and her own identity as she comes to establish her true values.
Set across the Czech Republic, France and Germany, from the end of WWII to 2004, Story of Lenka is a narrative fiction about friendship, love, secret revelations and reconciliation.
ABOUT MONIKA FOURNEAUX

Passionate about writing and history, Monika Fourneaux grew up in the Czech Republic leaving at nineteen to explore the world. She studied and worked in the UK, Germany, Japan and France. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese and a Master’s degree in Business and Management, from the University of Lille. She worked in the broadcasting and trade show industries. She currently lives in Dubai with her husband and two children. Story of Lenka is her first novel.
