Monika Fourneaux is extremely proud and excited to share her latest work Story of Lenka . The project might have been a lengthy one, but this was one story that really needed to be told.
Lenka, a young Czech woman, leaves her small hometown on the German border to study in Paris, where she uncovers a dark incident in her family history. All that she believed in seems now to be her pure invention. Forced to abandon her carefree life, Lenka's search for the truth brings her into conflict with her mother, her boyfriend and her own identity as she comes to establish her true values. Set across the Czech Republic, France and Germany, from the end of WWII to 2004, Story of Lenka is a narrative fiction about friendship, love, secret revelations and reconciliation.
